2. Amy Coleman – Treasure’s Report
Amy reported that there are no changes. She is working on completing the payment to Magic Mountain for the Secondary School Ski Day.
3. Executive Board Report – Andrea Dayley
a. Arts Moms and Dads need a replacement representative.
b. Mr. Hanson has left some art projects in Mrs. McGregor’s Fourth grade classroom for parent volunteers to complete at home. If you have any parents who are looking for hours, they can stop by and pick up one of these projects. They are in preparation of our Elementary Art Show.
4. Cindy Fulcher - Principal’s Report
a. Pouring concrete Friday, Monday and Tuesday, March 5th, 8th and 9th. Trucks will be dumping every 10 minutes. The road will be very busy so be careful dropping off and picking up your children.
b. Secondary School – The students in the secondary school are having nonstudent’s shadow them for a day. This is an opportunity for them to see what a day looks like at Xavier. The first shadow day was on March 3rd and the second shadow day is on March 12th.
c. Choir group sang at the Capital during the dismissal of the legislature. They did a very good job.
d. Teacher vacancies are located under the Faculty page of our website.
e. March 6th – Mrs. Corpron and the 9th grade - Ave Nona; volunteers are needed
f. Pemberly Ball – 8th grade event went very well. The 8th graders learned etiquette prior to the event and than used this knowledge during the event. The students ate and than danced.
5. Grade Level Representative Reports

All representatives are responsible to have someone attend meetings and report
regarding their activities.
6. Communication Moms and Dads
Joelle Quinton and Christina Kelly – not present
7. Arts Moms and Dads
Need another representative to volunteer for this position.
8. Highway Clean Up – Michelle Chavez – not present to report on this event.
9. Clothing Exchange – Renee Robbins
a. School uniform exchange 9am to noon at the elementary school. Renee will be using the kindergarten rooms for this event.
10. Spring PFA Fundraiser – scheduled for April 30th
a. Renee needs help to copy the forms and process the returned forms. The process was discussed and it was determined that is better to assist Renee during school hours and to not send any forms home with parents to fold. It is suggested that the students provide 15 contacts, name and addresses. Students are not penalized if they can not achieve the suggested contact information. The forms need to be returned by March 22nd. There will be a competition between classes. Reward has not been determined at this time.
b. Andrea Dayley has been working on obtaining sponsors. The sponsor information will be placed on the shirts. $250 sponsor fee for those that want to have the complete business information. $100 for name only. Contact Andrea Dayley for information. No limit on the number of sponsors.
c. Room Moms will need to contact parents to help day of the event. This event is held during school hours so SAVE THE DAY in order to help.
11. Elementary Day
a. Cindy is going to check the calendar to see which day will fit this event the best.
12. Teacher Appreciation Day
a. Melissa is going to get with Cindy to find out what will work best for the teachers. They want to make sure the students are involved.
b. Melissa asked if they can use plastic cups to spell out something in support of the teachers during this event. Cindy gave her approval of this idea.
13. Ink Cartridges – Mrs. Biggers
a. Mrs. Biggers was not present to give an update, but Amy reported on the checks that we have received. We have received checks for $15.00, $34.00 and $227.00.
14. Labels , Box Tops and Target– Lisa Maxwell
a. Lisa printed off the color catalog to show what type of items are available
b. She sent in over 1300 box tops this past weekend totaling approximately $1306.00.
c. Only have six parents signed up for the Target program
d. Andrea Dayley will complete the application for the Smith’s Earn & Learn Donation Program.
PFA Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 P.M.
